Jennee Cummings

Resident Services Director

Jennee is a desert native and she’s a proud mom of 2; her daughter works in the film industry in LA, and her son lives in Arizona with his wife and stepson, and they are expecting a baby in the fall. Karen Tuvia

LEAP Program Director Trusted care

Karen brings a philosophy as thoughtful as it is simple: engagement isn’t about filling time, it’s about creating meaning. Grounded in culture, the arts, and movement, her work helps residents stay connected to themselves, to the world around them, and to the families who love them.

LEAP offers three levels of daily engagement,  personal, neighborhood, and community,  alongside our Namaste Program, which gently supports residents in reconnecting with their environment and finding meaningful social interaction.

Karen’s path to this work is deeply personal. She walked alongside her mother-in-law and aunt through their own aging journeys, experiences that ignited a lifelong commitment to days filled with purpose, creativity, dignity, and genuine connection. For more than a decade, she has served as an Activities Director and Memory Care professional dedicated to enriching the lives of older adults. Before that, she spent years designing and merchandising women’s clothing, traveling the world, and immersing herself in diverse cultures — a creative foundation that continues to inspire fresh, meaningful programming today.

Outside of work, Karen finds joy in family, friends, yoga, swimming, travel, music, reading, and creative pursuits,  all of which fuel her curiosity, compassion, and love of life.
